I am Sigita from Šiauliai – an individual care worker with 8-10 years of experience. I can provide short-term assistance in a person's home and 24/7 care, and if necessary, I can also connect in a care home. The most important thing in my work is respectful communication, a clear agenda and a safe, calm environment where a person retains as much independence as possible.
Every day I take care of body hygiene, personal bathing, help in the toilet, change of diaper pads, help with getting dressed and eating. I move safely from bed to stroller, read the situation and select the right lifting techniques. I supervise the use of medications, measure and record health indicators, communicate with doctors and, if necessary, accompany them to visits – I clearly convey information to family members. I maintain cleanliness and order in the home space: I do housework, washing, prepare simple, balanced dishes, help with shopping, escort to the store, take care of small garden or garden work. I encourage light activity – walks, meaningful employment, and at night, if necessary, I stay awake and ensure peace.
I am characterized by communicability, empathy, diligence and diligence. I am responsible, patient, physically resilient, able to adapt to the human rhythm, maintain a tactful tone and confidentiality. I have employer recommendations and many years of practice in home care, as well as experience working with seniors with dementia – I understand their needs and know how to create a calming, predictable routine. I work on an individual basis, so we can clearly agree on the schedule and tasks. My goal is to provide both practical help and warmth every day so that there is more safety, dignity and comfort in the home.
