Sandra is an individual care worker and personal assistant from Panevėžys, with more than 10 years of experience in caring for seniors and people with various health conditions. I work responsibly, calmly and respectfully, so the most important thing for me is human dignity, safety and clear agreements with loved ones. I can provide short-term home care services when reliable help is needed after illness, surgery or flare-ups, and the family needs respite and reassurance.
In my daily care, I help ensure well-being and comfort: I take care of personal bathing and body hygiene, changing diaper pads, and also help with dressing and eating. I pay special attention to oral and dental care, as it is important for overall health and well-being. I monitor the main health indicators – blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar level and other parameters, and when I notice changes, I inform my relatives or responsible specialists in time. I supervise the use of medication according to the doctor's appointments, help to comply with the regimen and order.
I have experience in more complex care: I perform stoma care, I can help with the care of a person with diabetes. I also perform flipping and pressure ulcer prevention – safely, consistently and according to the established care plan to avoid discomfort and complications.
Warm communication is important to me: I am able to listen, maintain a conversation, create a calm atmosphere and motivate a person in their daily routine. I work discreetly, respecting confidentiality, and always strive to ensure that short-term care at home is of high quality, safe and humane.
