My name is Laura – an individual care worker from Šilutė, with 2-4 years of work experience. I want to work in a care home - I am well versed in the peculiarities of daily care for seniors and understand how important it is to ensure their safety, dignity and emotional well-being. I can work in a care home and take care of the elderly responsibly. I provide assistance with eating, dressing, using the toilet, performing personal hygiene procedures, personal bathing, oral and dental care. I also help with changing diaper pads, flipping and pressure ulcer prevention, on my way out of bed or in a stroller. I encourage movement by accompanying me for walks, communicating and maintaining a positive emotional environment. I am communicative, empathetic, hardworking and thorough. I love cleanliness and order, I have responsibility, patience and physical endurance. I have strong emotional resilience, I am able to work in stressful situations, and I easily adapt to different needs. I am flexible, tactful and respectful of every person. I speak Russian, so I can communicate more easily with a wider circle of seniors. My motivation is to sincerely help and ensure quality care every day.
