Health monitoring (blood pressure, temperature, sugar level, etc.)
Apie mane
I am Daiva – an individual care worker from Plungė, with up to 2 years of practical experience in caring for seniors. The most important thing in my work is human dignity, safety and respectful communication. I try to make the senior feel calm, be heard and receive reliable help every day. I can work in a care home for the elderly, I easily adapt to the order of the institution, teamwork and the individual needs of each resident.
In my daily care, I help with eating, dressing, escorting and helping in the toilet, taking care of body hygiene. I can also take care of the repricing – so that there is no shortage of everyday tools and it is convenient. In the presence of doctor's appointments and the internal order of the institution, I help to ensure the timely use or approval of medicines, as well as monitor the general well-being.
I know how to monitor the main health indicators – blood pressure, temperature, blood sugar level and other important parameters. When I notice the changes, I inform the responsible specialists about it. If necessary, I clearly and tactfully inform the family members about the senior's daily well-being or routine.
My strengths are communicativeness, empathy, good communication skills and diligence. I have physical stamina, I am patient and attentive. It is important for me to create a warm atmosphere and contribute to high-quality, safe care for seniors in care homes.
