Venta and Akmenė social care homes are places where every resident finds care, support and opportunities to improve. These institutions are not limited to daily care – they promote independence, creativity and active participation in the life of the community.
The residents of the Akmenė group living home, who call themselves simply Akmeniečiai, learn independence and try to integrate into the community of the small town. They actively participate in events, seek better self-knowledge and constantly improve their skills. Various activities, such as handicrafts, social projects or work sessions, help to acquire new knowledge and give you self-confidence. Residents appreciate the social space, which allows them to communicate, share experiences and enjoy the attention of the community.
The residents of the Venta social care home also actively participate in activities that promote their independence and strengthen ties with others. They grow vegetables, cook, manage the environment and create handicrafts. Participation in the activities of the Venta Disabled Club “Dalia”, activities of the parish children’s day care center and events in the library and the House of Culture gives you the opportunity to feel an important part of the community.
In both Akmenė and Venta care homes, residents are constantly learning, traveling, creating and integrating into society. These are spaces where every person can feel meaningful, valued and inspired to strive for more, while creating a warm and supportive community.
