The Telšiai District Nursing Home provides a wide range of social care and takes care of both long-term and short-term care of the elderly and persons with disabilities. The aim of this institution is to ensure the daily needs of residents, improve their quality of life and promote active participation in the community. Residents are provided with a wide variety of services, including health care, employment organization, development of daily life skills, and social and emotional support. Artistic and cultural activities are carried out in the retirement home, events, workshops and religious services are organized, which contributes to fostering community spirit.
In addition, the establishment has special equipment adapted to the physical and health needs of the residents, and each resident is accommodated in a single or double room with a private bathroom. The staff of the institution organizes morning exercises and sports activities adapted to everyone’s health condition and physical capabilities. Meals are organized four times a day, according to individual dietary recommendations, and health care services include the assistance of doctors and nurses.
