Šėta Social and Education Centre is a unique institution that combines the provision of social care services and the education of children under one roof. The aim here is to provide comprehensive and high-quality social and educational services that reflect a sincere concern for the dignity, safety and well-being of every human being.
The care home of the Šėta Social and Education Centre provides residents with comprehensive and individual services that promote physical, emotional and social well-being. Here, each resident has at least 5 sq. m. m personal space with amenities – bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV. The rooms are adapted in such a way as to create a home environment and create conditions for residents to feel independent and comfortable.
Meals are organized four times a day, adapting the food according to the needs and preferences of the residents. Equipped kitchenettes allow residents to make their own snacks, thus developing their daily skills. The centre also pays attention to personal hygiene: a clean environment is ensured on a daily basis and, if necessary, assistance is provided for daily hygiene procedures.
The social work team encourages the involvement of residents in various activities that develop their independence and social skills. Work and creative activities, art therapy and music activities are organized, which stimulate the creativity of residents and strengthen emotional health. There is also a relaxation room in the centre, which offers music, imagery and aromatherapy to help you relax.
Health care at the centre also includes professional nursing, physiotherapy, and massage services. Such a range of services provides the residents of the centre of Šėta with the opportunity to live a dignified, high-quality and active life.
