Šeduva Care Home is a budgetary social care institution, the activities of which are focused on constant care and assistance for the elderly and adults with disabilities. The aim of these care homes is to ensure long-term or short-term social care for non-independent and partially independent people who need complex specialist care.
The institution offers a variety of services to help residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence. Šeduva Care Home provides information and consulting services, helps to mediate and represent residents, as well as ensures a place of residence where residents feel safe and comfortable.
The care home seeks to develop the daily life skills of the residents and supports their employment through cultural and leisure activities. Classes are held in the Polekėlė and independent living units of the care home that strengthen work skills, promote self-expression and communication. Religious service ceremonies are also organized for the residents, their personal hygiene, food and daily needs are taken care of.
Šeduva Care Home also provides various health care services: medical consultations, hospitalization if necessary, preventive care, supportive treatment, massages and physiotherapy. Each resident, if necessary, is also provided with technical assistance tools that help to move more easily and perform daily tasks.
