The public institution Raseiniai Disability Employment and Services Centre, which started its activities on 1 January 2020, has become an important support and assistance centre for residents of Raseiniai district with disabilities. Established by merging the Raseiniai Day Care Centre “Vilties takas” and the Raseiniai Day Employment Centre for the Disabled, the centre ensures accessible, high-quality and individually tailored social services.
The aim of the centre is to help visitors create a meaningful and fulfilling life. The proposed multifaceted assistance includes counselling, employment, leisure activities, personal hygiene care, physiotherapy, education and education. Day activities develop social skills, promote independence, and allow visitors to try out creative activities such as art, ceramics, music, or theater.
Physical health and activity are fostered during morning exercise, sports activities, and organizing sports festivals and tournaments. Cultural activities are enriched by excursions, visits to theaters and exhibitions, and the organization of celebrations strengthens community spirit.
Special services, such as short-term or long-term social care, are provided according to individual needs, ensuring constant supervision and support. The new day social care service provides an opportunity for children, adults and the elderly with disabilities to receive the necessary help and support on a daily basis.
The Raseiniai Employment and Services Centre for the Disabled is a place where every visitor finds help, understanding and an opportunity to create a more beautiful everyday life.
