Public institution “Pimonovų fondos namai”, established in 2011. The Eugenia and Leonid Pimonov Alzheimer’s Disease Support Fund are dedicated to caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other diseases of the central nervous system that cause dementia syndrome. The founder, the famous physicist and scientist Leonid Pimonovas, sought to perpetuate the memory of his wife Eugenia, who herself experienced the challenges of a serious illness. This institution has become a place where highly qualified professionals, full of empathy and determination, provide comprehensive support to people struggling with impairments of memory and cognitive functions.
The care home is adapted to the special needs of the residents, providing a cozy and safe environment where every day is filled with activities, care and dignity. The institution carries out the development of social, medical, psychological and other services, ensuring high-quality everyday life for each resident. Health care professionals, psychologists and social workers work here, and physiotherapy and massage services are also provided if necessary. Residents of the “Pimonov Foundation Care Home” can participate in employment programs, events and concerts, thus maintaining their social and cognitive skills.
In order to achieve a quality life experience for each ward, the care home provides meals four times a day, takes care of personal hygiene, skills maintenance and social integration of residents. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of new arrivals and constant support to both residents and their family members, ensuring that everyone feels cared for and respected.
