St. Clara’s Care Home, located in Žaliakalnis, Kaunas (Dovydaičio St. 17), is a unique care institution operating in the premises of the former Franciscan Friars Minor Monastery. Here, special attention is paid to both the physical care of the population and their spiritual well-being. The pastoral care of the care home is taken care of by the Franciscan friars, and the chaplain Br. Juozapas Marija Žukauskas OFM regularly visits the sick, giving spiritual talks and offering weekly Holy Mass. Mass.
This home can accommodate up to 40 elderly people who need care due to physical disability, dementia or other illnesses at the same time. The residents are supervised by a competent team of 20 specialists, consisting of clergy, psychologists, social workers and nurses.

in St. Peter’s Church. Clara’s care home provides an atmosphere of home comfort. Residents can choose 1 or 2-bed rooms, and some have kitchenettes for self-cooking. In addition, you can order your preferred dishes in the canteen. An innovative facilitated living service is also provided, allowing residents to be independent, but under the supervision of specialists.
The infrastructure of the house is adapted for the elderly and disabled – it protects against falls and ensures safety. In addition, there are various spaces for leisure: a library, a physiotherapy hall, rooms and guest and recreation areas.
