The Public Institution Crisis Centre “Angelų pieva” provides a wide range of social services for both the elderly and persons with disabilities. The center provides long-term and short-term social care that helps people feel safe and secure. The short-term care service is especially useful for persons who are temporarily unable to live independently, for example, due to the departure of relatives or while documents for permanent residence are being processed. For those who are facing difficulties and do not have a permanent place of residence, temporary accommodation services and hostels are also offered, which help them regain stability and security.
The catering services provided at the centre ensure that all individuals receive balanced and healthy food. In addition, personal hygiene and care services are organized so that residents feel comfortable and are properly cared for. The center also pays special attention to employment, providing a variety of activities and assistance to help you occupy your time in a meaningful way.
The crisis centre “Angelų pieva” was established in 2002 and has been actively developing its activities since then. Since 2014, the nursing home has been operating in Rukliai, and in 2019 the canteen moved to new premises on Užpalių St. 95, in Utena. In July 2021, a new branch was opened in Utena, which further strengthened the quality and accessibility of the services provided by the centre.
