Prienai Care Home

Prienai Care Home is a social care institution located in a beautiful corner of nature on the bank of the Nemunas, in Prienai district, near the Žvėrinčius forest. The main activity is focused on the provision of long-term and short-term social care services, promoting the integration of the population, ensuring their health care and mental well-being.

The care home seeks not only to provide the residents with dignified living conditions, but also to encourage them to participate in the life of the community, to provide educational and rehabilitation services. Therapies used in care homes, such as light, smell, movement, landscape, art, and others, help to improve both the physical and emotional health of the residents.

The buildings of the Prienai care home were developed in order to ensure comfortable and modern living conditions. In 2007, a new building with an attic was built, adapted for the disabled, with modern amenities and equipment, such as sanitary units, and a lift.
