Palanga City Care Home is located in a beautiful corner of the Baltic Sea coast, surrounded by nature. The institution, established in 1994, at Klaipėdos highway 74, provides long-term and short-term social care and supervision. It is a budgetary institution belonging to the Palanga City Municipality, intended for persons of retirement age and adults with severe physical disabilities or complete loss of working capacity. The aim here is to create dignified living conditions for the population, corresponding to their individual needs and health condition.
The care home provides personal health care services, licensed physiotherapy sessions, as well as inpatient care and care activities for seniors and adults with disabilities. The care home not only takes care of physical well-being, but also pays attention to the employment of the residents, creating conditions for participation in various activities that are adapted to the person’s interests and abilities.
Palanga City Care Home is proud of its professional staff, who are constantly improving their qualifications in order to ensure the highest quality of services. In 2019, the care home celebrated its 25th anniversary, moving forward with new initiatives and improvements in the field of social care.
