Paberžė Social Care Home is a safe and comfortable living environment for elderly and disabled people who need long-term or short-term social care due to their age or health condition. This institution was established in September 2008 and became the first inpatient care institution in Vilnius district. Care homes are intended for those who can no longer live independently due to their age or disability and who need constant care and assistance.
The mission of the institution is to provide the wards with comprehensive social care by providing medical care, nursing, and care. The vision of the care home is to help every resident experience the fullness of life, promote activity and take care of their physical and emotional health, while maintaining respect and dignity. Elderly and disabled people living in the institution find an environment where they feel safe and their privacy is respected. Many of them live in double or triple rooms, equipped with the necessary furniture and specially adapted amenities.
The care home also offers primary outpatient health care, general practice nursing and physiotherapy services, ensuring comprehensive care according to the license issued by the State Accreditation Health Care Service. Residents are fed in the canteen, and for those who cannot walk, food is delivered directly to the rooms. The fee for foster care is established in accordance with the regulations of the Government, not exceeding 80% of the person’s income.
