Eimanta Nursing Home, located in Kaunas, is a place where high-quality nursing and social care is provided to the elderly and people with disabilities. A variety of services are offered here: long-term, short-term and weekend care, which meets the individual needs of each resident. The institution has significant experience in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and senile dementia, ensuring professional care and constant attention to their state of health.
Eimanta aims to ensure comprehensive care, so consultations of medical specialists are also used. After a family doctor’s appointment, blood pressure, blood sugar level monitoring and blood tests are performed, and the nurse is called to take care of all the necessary tests and monitoring. Special attention is paid to the needs of the population – if necessary, consultation of a specialist doctor, prescription and delivery of the necessary medicines are ensured (if the patient is registered with the health centre serving the institution). In case of urgent need, an ambulance is immediately called, and residents are provided with all the necessary nursing equipment upon request.
