Kazlų Rūda Social Support Centre “Elderly Care Home” provides high-quality social care services to the elderly and adults with disabilities in order to ensure their dignity, safety and well-being. This institution provides an opportunity not only to receive professional help, but also to participate in an active life, learning everyday skills and engaging in creative activities. The care home offers a variety of services, ranging from information and counseling to daily hygiene and health care services. Here, residents have the opportunity to learn how to manage their money accounting, go shopping, do household chores, as well as participate in activities such as sewing, knitting, fine arts and ceramics. These activities not only help to develop skills, but also promote social communication and self-expression. The organization of leisure time is also an important part of the “Nursing Home for the Elderly”, ensuring that residents can enjoy a variety of entertainment, communicate with peers and actively participate in the life of the community.
