Jurdaičiai Social Care Home is a place where care and help for adults with disabilities become the basis of life. Subordinate to the Ministry of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of Lithuania, care homes ensure long-term and short-term social care, giving people the opportunity to live with dignity, regardless of their disability or health challenges.
Persons who have a working capacity level of 0-40 percent due to mental disability or mental disorders, as well as those who need constant nursing or care, are admitted to care homes. Complex assistance is provided here, which includes social services and medical care, which is provided by qualified specialists: social workers, nurses and their assistants.
Care homes offer a wide range of services tailored to individual needs. Residents are provided with comfortable accommodation, meals four times a day, health care and nursing, household and hygiene services. The aim is not only to satisfy basic needs, but also to create a warm community atmosphere by organizing leisure activities and social employment.
In the care home, special attention is paid to dignity, respect and the promotion of personal independence. Agreements concluded between the institution, the municipality and the wards ensure transparency and mutual understanding.
