Jotainiai Social Care Home is an institution located in Panevėžys district, Jotainiai village, Dvaro street. This care institution is designed for people with mental or intellectual disabilities, providing them with long-term or short-term social care. About 190 people live here, who are provided with various services tailored to their individual needs. The care home employs 95 specialists who take care of the health, social integration and daily well-being of the residents.
Residents are provided with conditions to live in cozy single, double or triple rooms with the necessary furniture, as well as the opportunity to use additional services, such as a hairdresser, laundry, and even a sauna. The territory of the institution is decorated with beautiful flower beds, an alley of linden trees, and a well-kept garden where juicy fruits ripen in autumn.
In the Jotainiai care home, great attention is paid to employment activities. Residents can participate in sewing, knitting, handicrafts, art or other workshops, and visit the library. Socialization and cultural life are enriched by events, concerts, sports competitions and excursions. In addition, there is a band, a pop group “Riešutėliai” and a theatre troupe that encourage creativity and self-expression.
