The Jonava District Disability Activity Centre is a place where people with disabilities are given the opportunity to live a full and dignified life. Day social care services are provided here for 24 persons with disabilities, while in the structural unit “House of Life” long-term social care services are provided to 11 persons with disabilities.
The Centre offers a wide range of services, including information, counselling, mediation, representation and socio-cultural activities, which reduce social exclusion and promote the integration of individuals into the community. Day, short-term and long-term social care services include personal hygiene assistance, social skills development, leisure activities, health care and physiotherapy. Temporary respite services are also offered, providing an opportunity for relatives to rest.
The vision of the Centre is a happy, safe person with disabilities with equal opportunities to the necessary services, housing, work, recreation, treatment and continuous education. The main goal is to develop autonomy and ensure social inclusion by providing assistance to both persons with disabilities and their families.
The center operates on the basis of empathy, professionalism and respect for human dignity, providing an opportunity for everyone to pursue their potential and live a meaningful, fulfilling life.
