Elektrėnai Social Care Home is an institution that provides long-term and short-term social care and social care services for the elderly and adults with disabilities, providing support for improving their daily lives and strengthening their skills. The institution includes two divisions – the Elektrėnai Independent Living House and the Pakalniškės Division, which provide general, crisis management and specialized social services.
The Independent Living House, located in Elektrėnai, on Taikos Street, provides conditions for partially independent elderly people and persons with disabilities to live with dignity and independence, in an adapted home environment. Here, residents are provided with domestic support and independent living skills are developed, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
The Pakalniškės branch (Mokyklos St., Pakalniškės) focuses on people at social risk and their families, providing living conditions and intensive crisis management assistance. There is also a children’s day care center here, where social skills are developed. Specialists working in the unit, including a psychologist, provide emotional support and help create a safe environment that promotes independence and integration into society of at-risk individuals and families.
