For many years, the community “Klaipėdos viltis” has been a safe haven for families raising or caring for persons with intellectual disabilities. One of the most important goals of our activities is to ensure that every person with a disability receives appropriate help, regardless of their age or condition. Long-term social care is one of the most significant services we provide, providing ongoing support to those who need daily care and care.
Since 2004, long-term care has been provided at the “Living House”, and since 2016 this service is also available at the premises of the community at Debreceno St. 48. These institutions create a cozy and safe environment for people with severe and moderate disabilities, where they not only receive the necessary care, but also participate in employment activities. Our goal is not only to ensure daily comfort, but also to provide an opportunity to live with dignity, feel valued and participate in public life.
Long-term care is especially important for families who care for relatives with disabilities. We provide them with respite services that allow them to breathe and entrust their loved ones to the hands of experienced specialists. Services are provided to those for whom help at home is not enough, so our care becomes irreplaceable.
The community “Klaipėdos viltis” is not only a donor, but also a space of compassion, understanding and community, which contributes to the well-being of people with disabilities and their families and their integration into society.
