The Troškūnai branch of the Anykščiai social care home opened its doors on 4 August 2022 and aims to provide high-quality long-term and short-term care and health care services to elderly and disabled adults living in Anykščiai district who need constant specialist care. The institution is equipped with 26 places for long-term care, 6 places for short-term care and 4 places for temporary respite service, while the comfort and safety of residents is ensured by on-call staff and modern health care equipment with an emergency call system.
The unit takes care of the daily life of the residents, ensures dignified and private living conditions that meet individual needs and resemble the home environment. A variety of services are available here, such as accommodation in cozy rooms for 1-4 people, laundry and catering services, hygiene care and religious services. Residents are also given the opportunity to participate in creative, artistic activities and employment programs that help develop independence skills and promote self-expression. Social care plans are tailored to the needs of each resident after the adaptation period, and the staff genuinely care for the population and ensure that the relationship is based on trust and respect.
