Alanta Retirement Home, established in 1995 in Molėtai district of the picturesque town of Alanta, is a calm, safe and caring environment for the elderly and adults with disabilities. The care home provides 33 places for long-term and short-term care. The institution has a chapel, a lounge-hall and various leisure spaces that allow residents to participate in enriching activities, develop skills and maintain communication.
The care home has a professional team of 20 employees who ensure that each resident receives individual care according to their needs. The care institution seeks to preserve the dignity of every resident, provide opportunities to participate in everyday life actions and contribute to the reduction of social exclusion. Special attention is paid to the legal rights of the population, the quality of living conditions, as well as medical and socio-cultural services.
In addition to general services (information, counselling, provision of essential items, transport, etc.), the care home offers specialised services including accommodation, hygiene and health care, assistance in daily activities and catering services. Residents are encouraged to develop work activities, participate in cultural and leisure programs that help maintain psychological and emotional well-being.
